Daljeet Kaur, Facility Manager
Daljeet worked as a Registered Nurse at Malyon House for eight years before spreading her wings and moving to a Clinical Management role in another care home. She has now returned to Malyon House, as our Facility Manager. Daljeet is passionate about providing top-quality care for elderly people, and is enjoying the new challenge of managing our team.
Daljeet enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, walking in our amazing native bush and relaxing at the beach with friends. She and her husband have recently become parents.
Maureen Bedford, Clinical Manager
Maureen worked at Malyon House as a Registered Nurse for several years before becoming our Clinical Manager. Maureen has recently celebrated her tenth anniversary at Malyon House. Maureen leads our nurses in providing excellent care in line with best industry practices.
Hailing from the Waikato, Maureen now lives in Mt Maunganui and loves spending time at the beach and climbing up the Mount.
Paula Davidson, Administration Manager
Paula has more than 20 years’ experience as Malyon House’s finance guru and is the person to see for any enquiries regarding billing. Paula also manages vacancies as they arise.
Paula is a true ‘Mount local’ having grown up here. When she’s not at work she loves spending time with her family and her dog, Bella.
Fran Humbke, Senior Care Assistant
Fran leads our team of Care Assistants and has worked at Malyon House for more than 25 years. Fran specialises in going the extra mile to ensure our residents feel right at home and newcomers are made to feel part of our Malyon family.
Desi Olsson, Administrator
Desi is at reception, and is the person to see for any general enquiries. Desi coordinates our Meals on Wheels service as well as assisting residents with booking appointments, transport, hairdresser and podiatrist visits. Desi has been at Malyon House for several years, prior to her administration role she worked as a Care Assistant.

Amy Munro, Director
Amy is a Registered Nurse with experience in Healthcare Management, who has been part of the Malyon House family since 1996 when her parents, then-Directors Cecily and David Munro started their Aged Care business. Amy took over the Directorship when Cecily retired in 2018.
Amy lives with her husband Brett and son Ben in Oropi.
